Day 2 Day Halal Market serves the same stretch with halal groceries, and the four together make the old downtown a legitimate weekly stop rather than a nostalgia trip. Park once and walk the strip: that is the move, and it works in every season except the truly wet ones, when the car wins.
The neighbourhoods keep their own markets.
